Heya music lovers: we’ve got another bandwagon to share. In case you’re new to this posting, the RLT Bandwagon is a sampling of music we’d be listening to driving around on an RLT summer trip if only we weren’t office-bound getting all those trips enrolled and organized. It’s okay, don’t worry about us, we like our jobs!
This one has a good spread of genres, folksy (that would be Jim and Elin), so hip you’ve barely heard of it (Callie), nice, happy roll-down-the-windows-and-feel-the-wind-in-your-hair (Donna), a requisite pop contribution (Ellen) and Adam comes up trumps with a song by RLT’s own Bevan Herbekian and his band, The 21st Century. This particular song, A Funeral March, reminds us all of the night at staff training when Bevan lead what seemed like half of the leaders screaming and clapping in harmony, dancing around with not a care in the world in the middle of the star-filled Colorado night. Perfect.
Please post bandwagon song suggestions into the comments. We’d love to include them and you by extension.
Over two decades ago when Donna and Jim Stein started The Road Less Traveled they were new parents and pioneers of an adventure travel program. They wanted to create a one-of-a-kind life changing experience for youth that would transform people ‘s lives around the world. Donna’s love of the outdoors began while growing up in Detroit, Michigan. At an early age, during the turbulent ‘60’s, Donna escaped the hot summers of the city and found respite in the north woods of Michigan, where she discovered independence and solace in the outdoors. Donna gained extensive business experience in corporations and non-profit organizations. She manages all development, operations, marketing, and upholds the rigorous standards that support the mission, training, and policies of RLT.View all posts by this author
