Middle and high school students around the country are preparing themselves to embark on a life-changing journey with The Road Less Traveled, but what about the rest of us?
We know that family members and friends alike will want to stay connected with The RLT participants on their respective trips. Our participants turn in their cell phones on the first day of their program so they won’t be able to post to their personal social networks, and you won’t be able to contact them directly. We’ll be sharing trip highlights across all of our social outlets. So don’t worry: you’ll be able to keep up with the amazing happenings on The RLT trips all summer long.
There are a lot of ways you can connect with us to stay updated. If you want to keep up with all of the trips, please like The Road Less Traveled on Facebook and follow @TheRLT on Twitter. These will be the main platforms we’ll be using to share pictures, trip highlights and quotes from instructors and students. For photos in real-time, follow @TheRLT on Instagram.
If you are only interested in being updated on the trip that your particular family member or friend is taking, we get that! We will be using trip-specific hashtags for each of our Road Less Traveled trips. Click the name of the trip below, and bookmark that page to keep up with all updates from that specific trip. This site will streamline all of the updates from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You’ll see everything regarding the trip you’re interested in–all in one place.
If you’re not sure which trip to follow, you can see all of the trips here — or ask the student you know which trip they are going on. They’ll certainly know.
We will be sharing longer and more detailed updates and adventure stories on our blog throughout the summer. We’ll be sure to Facebook and tweet about these posts so you don’t miss a thing.
We could not be more excited to share our adventures with you this summer!
If you are a participant, share this with your parents, friends, grandparents, uncles, cousins… (you get the idea!) so they can follow what you’re doing this summer. If you’re NOT a participant, we’re excited to help you virtually enjoy the Road Less Traveled trips this summer and beyond. So go ahead and like us, follow us, and don’t be too shy to say hello. Anyone who is a friend of an RLT participant is a friend of ours, and we’d love to connect with you.
