The one hour presentation is a combination of viewing photographs from our many program destinations, learning about our organization, specifically about any trips you may be interested in, and is the perfect opportunity to have all your questions answered in person. Our Program

The Road Less Traveled summer experience is a true partnership and the result is an extraordinary international collaborative effort and an equally cooperative endeavor for all. We offer an experience where young people engage in a service of presence and active listening in the world. We encourage involvement and cultivate leadership, excellence and professionalism, openness and sensitivity, initiative, communal participation, and social activism. We hope that somewhere in the variety of summer service learning, language, adventure and leadership programs honed from years of experience to be perfectly suited to teenagers, you will find a program that inspires you to sign up and get out on The Road Less Traveled!

The Road Less Traveled is accredited by the American Camp Association. Our accreditation indicates that we have voluntarily allowed our practices to be compared with over 300 standards established by professionals in the camp industry and that we have met or exceeded those standards. Through the accreditation process, outside teams of trained camp professionals observe the camp in session to verify compliance with standards in the areas of health, safety, and program quality, including emergency procedures, program practices and design, health care, personnel policies, vehicle safety, goals, and administration. In addition to being an ACA-accredited camp and a member of the Midwest Association of Independent Camps, we are a licensed child-care facility in the state of Colorado.

The Road Less Traveled is an equal opportunity provider. Our programs are conducted through special use permits granted by the U.S. Forest Service, the National Park Service, and the Bureau of Land Management.
