Since our inception in 1991, we have always stood by one guiding principle:
An integral part of our training each year is to make certain our leaders know our RLT environmental ethic before heading out into the world. It is common to have lively, insightful discussions on our programs about what “Leave No Trace” means to each group, and, most importantly… to the world.
With that in mind, when this news article and photo below recently passed through our newsfeed, it was a must “share.”
Our hope is that our programs will continue to produce environmentally aware young men and women who will do the right thing when they are presented with the choices regarding the environment and conservation.
Our ultimate, long term dream is that one day when an RLT alum is in a position of power and has a legislative vote to conserve our green spaces, they will remember and choose to – Do No Harm.
