I see working for The Road Less Traveled as a way to continuously grow through leading adventures around the world. While working here, I have learned to manage others, adapt to peculiar situations and just be a savvy and confident individual. RLT has also inspired me to pursue my career goal of working with children and I have become a science tutor, after-school caregiver, and substitute teacher thanks to my experience leading and fully enjoying my wonderful students on my outdoor wilderness trips. In the future, I hope to go on to get my PhD in cognitive neuroscience and as a product of RLT, I know that I can succeed. This is truly the best job in the world and I look forward to every new summer adventure.
Between her first and second summers with RLT, she has become a middle school substitute teacher and traveled Central America studying Howler Monkey Cognition as well as graduated from the UC Berkeley PostBac Premedical Program. She dreams of being able to fly, owning an English Setter and being accepted into a neuroscience PhD program.
