Carolyn graduated from the College of Charleston in 2013 with a Bachelor's in International Studies and French. While in school, she studied abroad in France and facilitated two service projects in Cameroon, Africa. After finishing undergrad, Carolyn taught English in the French Alps for an academic year, explored the Montanan mountains for a year, then worked in environmental education for four seasons in rural West Virginia. During the past four summers, Carolyn has enjoyed leading teenagers abroad and in the United States on the Lame Deer Reservation in Montana, the French Department of Guadeloupe, Ecuador, and Costa Rica. Carolyn currently lives in Asheville, North Carolina where she works in kids with autism in Applied Behavior Analysis therapy and is taking prerequisite classes toward a career in the medical field. When she is not working or schooling, you are guaranteed to find her eating avocados, frolicking in the woods, playing Old-Time fiddle tunes, or fulfilling all of the aforementioned at the same time.
