Education: B.S. Environmental Science, UCLA
Working: Hiking and Backpacking guide
Elizabeth grew up in the Southern California desert, not far from the San Bernardino Mountains and Joshua Tree National Park. She has always had a great love for the outdoors and for travel. While at UCLA, she studied environmental science and soon after graduation she moved to her current home of Utah to be a wilderness therapy guide. Since then she has worked in a variety of roles as a guide and outdoor educator. Last year, Elizabeth was able to lead the Nepal trip and loved the insight and new perspectives she and her students gained from the trip. Elizabeth's travels have given her opportunity to spend a few months living on farms in Italy and Croatia, backpacking in the Himalayas, and learning how to teach yoga in Bali. She is always dreaming up her next big trip! In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys practicing yoga, cooking, and exploring mountains, deserts and city streets on her bicycle. She is thrilled to be returning to the Road Less Traveled this Summer to explore more of our planets most beautiful and interesting places with eager teens!
