J.T. is returning to RLT for a second year after a sunny adventure in California last summer. He has been eagerly awaiting to reunite with the RLT family and once again be surrounded by its compassion, enthusiasm, dedication, and solid helping of goofiness. J.T. quickly learned last summer how meticulously every part of the RLT experience is designed to deliver the most incredible, life-changing adventures and he can’t wait to be in the middle of it all again.
In between his daydreams of the upcoming summer, J.T. has been finishing up his last semester at Bucknell University, where he studies Mathematics & Electrical Engineering. He spends much of his time at school as a trip leader for Bucknell's Outdoor Education program, and particularly enjoys running trips with new students each year. The past three years he's had the pleasure of leading new students on rock climbing, caving, and backpacking trips. He has met some of his best friends through these trips, and it is where he first learned about the ability of the outdoors to transform a group of strangers into a close-knit group of friends.
When he's not busy leading trips, you can usually find J.T. snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, rock climbing, or slacklining. He is an explorer at heart, and is always dreaming up an idea for his next big adventure. He also loves listening to live music, napping in hammocks, dancing, and eating more candy than he probably should.
