Working: Exploring New Horizons Outdoor School
Since completing a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of San Diego, Lucas has been on a mission to explore, teach and learn. In his first season with RLT, he led students through the red rock canyons of Utah on "Unleashed" and ran with the wolves on "Call of the Wild". After an unforgettable RLT-packed summer, he hit the road, traveling and and teaching English in Nepal, Thailand and Vietnam. Then, he took the RLT adventure underwater, diving into coral restoration projects on "Conservation is the Key". The diving adventure didn't stop there; Lucas returned to RLT for a third summer, leading students through the dense jungles and tropical waters of Belize. After another round of globetrotting, this time through Africa and Europe, Lucas settled into working as an Naturalist and Field Instructor at an Outdoor School in California, where he currently resides. Lucas has a passion for the outdoors and whether it be hiking, climbing, backpacking or diving, he can be found wherever there is adventure.
