Marisa is in her final year at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where she is studying social work and sociology. She has studied abroad for a semester in Australia, a winter in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands and most recently a winter in South Africa. Marisa has a love for traveling and learning about the different cultures she visits. Marisa grew up in Minnesota where she spent her summers on the lake, riding horses and traveling with her family. In her spare time, Marisa can be found doing outdoor activities such as hiking, rock climbing and scuba diving. Marisa enjoys working with children. She currently has a social work internship at an alternative high school. She had an amazing time last year in the Florida Keys scuba diving on RLT’s Conservation is Key program and looks forward to another exciting summer!
