Education: Cal State Fullerton, Marine Biology
Working: Naturalists at Large
Miranda graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Biology from Cal State Fullerton. During her time at Cal State, she enjoyed being involved in various research projects. Since then she has been a naturalist leading youth through the diversity of forests, deserts and beaches in California. Miranda is addicted to traveling, and recently returned from a backpacking trip through South America where she volunteered on organic farms, trekked through the Andes, and chased sea critters through the oceans with rented scuba gear. In her spare time you can find her fiddling in the garden, camping under the stars, working on wacky art projects and hanging upside down on aerial silks and trapeze. She led her first RLT service trip in Belize last summer and found it to be one of the most rewarding and beautiful experiences she has had. Miranda is starting her master's program in environmental management in the fall, and until then cannot wait to share more unforgettable experiences and growth with the amazing students of RLT.
