Development Director Summer Search
My six summers on RLT wilderness trips (three as a participant and three as a leader) taught me all the most important things: how to read a map, how to chop garlic, how to live happily with almost nothing, how to build a family out of strangers, and how to dig deep in myself for the strength to tackle the impossible. I've drawn on those last two skills countless times throughout my career, first as a mentor to low-income high school students, later as a leader of an educational non-profit organization, and now as an MBA student at MIT's Sloan School of Management. Whatever unfolds next for me professionally, I'm grateful to RLT for nurturing my enduring sense of adventure and eagerness to embrace each new challenge.
