Education: Amherst College; University of Chicago Booth School of Business
Work: Kantar Retail Americas Consulting
I became a part of the RLT family over 12 years ago. Spending six summers with RLT as a participant (Colorado, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Costa Rica), I gained a rare perspective on my own life for which I am forever thankful. Trekking through remote locations and living in a variety of cultures transformed strangers into life-long friends. The most valuable lessons I’ve learned were from hiking the trail, racing down the river or camping on a snowy mountainside and taught me to face challenges with confidence, to speak with conviction and to appreciate living in the moment.
While attending Amherst College, I was lucky enough to return to RLT as a leader to pay my experiences forward (Panama, Colorado, Tanzania). I witnessed the life-changing experiences I remembered, filled with curiosity, culture, and discovery, as well as newly developed appreciation for the importance of human interactions, patience, and living in the present.
I took a break from RLT to pursue a career in consulting and will be returning to business school at University of Chicago Booth School of Business this fall. I’m looking forward to building a career a bit closer to my passions in the outdoors and technology. I continue to embrace the outdoors and marvel at the wonder of the world, most recently completing a biking trek over the Andes Mountains and into the Amazon Basin.
