SUMMER SPANISH IMMERSION PROGRAMS
For young people who are seeking to increase their confidence and proficiency as Spanish speakers, one of the best things they can do is to use their language skills outside the classroom. Sure enough, our teen Spanish language immersion trips give young travelers the opportunity to practice and develop their language skills in real-life settings.
As a group, we talk about the importance of our program participants learning a local language while they are traveling. This can help them break down communication barriers and cultivate relationships with locals in parts of the world that may be unfamiliar and challenging to them.
Cultural and Spanish immersion summer programs provide a different context for building a young person’s competency in their Spanish ability away from the traditional school setting. Over the course of their summer with us, your teen will be able to hone their Spanish skills and uncover the nuances of what it is like to engage with local Spanish speakers.
We have students join our Spanish travel programs who have various existing levels of Spanish language ability. We encourage students to practice the language at their own level, supported by the trip leaders.
Our Spanish programs are not just opportunities to develop and refine language skills. They are much broader in what they offer, providing opportunities for impactful service, adventure activities and cultural immersion as a way to authentically travel and explore some of these exciting countries.
