Spanish Immersion Trips for Teens | RLT Trip Guide
Whether your child is drawn to language, animals, cultural immersion, or environmental science, we offer a type of trip that brings that learning to life.
So over the next few weeks, we will be highlighting different categories of trips and the kind of learning that happens in each one.
First up: Spanish Immersion โจ
Language learning sticks best when itโs part of everyday life. Ordering food, working alongside local partners, and navigating new places. These trips are built to make Spanish something teens hear, speak, and practice daily in ways that feel natural.
Here are the trips that fall under our Spanish immersion category.

This trip blends outdoor adventure with service and daily life in Spain. Teens spend time along the Costa Brava hiking, kayaking, and exploring coastal towns before heading inland to Barcelona for service work with local organizations. Spanish is woven into daily interactions, from navigating cities to working alongside community partners, creating steady opportunities to practice and build confidence.
๐ Costa Rica: Coast to Canopy (High School)
Teens live and work in rural Costa Rican communities, partnering on service projects and spending afternoons playing soccer, hiking, and practicing Spanish with local families.
