SMS PRIVACY POLICY AND TERMS & CONDITIONS

These SMS Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions apply to text messages sent by The Road Less Traveled LLC ("RLT," "we," "us," or "our").
By providing SMS consent through one of the methods described below, you agree to these terms.
1. CONSENT TO RECEIVE SMS MESSAGES
For RLT website, enrollment, inquiry, and scheduling forms that display an SMS disclosure, providing your mobile phone number and submitting the form constitutes consent to receive conversational and informational SMS text messages from The Road Less Traveled LLC as described in the disclosure presented with that form.
RLT may also obtain SMS consent through:
• Verbal consent during a telephone conversation
• An affirmative response to an email requesting SMS consent
• A consumer initiating an SMS conversation with an RLT SMS-enabled phone number
• Other direct consent methods that clearly explain the RLT SMS program before consent is provided
Providing a phone number outside one of these disclosed consent processes does not, by itself, authorize RLT to send SMS messages.
2. TYPES OF SMS MESSAGES
RLT's SMS program is intended for conversational and informational communications related to RLT inquiries, enrollments, accounts, trips, and services.
Messages may include:
• Responses to trip and program inquiries
• Information requested by you
• Follow-up communications about an inquiry
• Appointment and scheduled-call confirmations
• Enrollment and application assistance
• Account-related communications
• Payment and deposit reminders
• Required form and document reminders
• Trip preparation reminders
• Travel information
• Safety and program information
• Customer-service communications
• Other communications directly related to your inquiry, enrollment, account, trip, or participation in an RLT program
This SMS program is not intended to transfer your consent to another business or to enroll you in third-party marketing programs.
3. MESSAGE FREQUENCY
Message frequency may vary depending on your inquiry, enrollment status, account activity, trip, and interactions with RLT.
The number and timing of messages may vary because many RLT SMS conversations are responsive to individual customer questions and account activity.
4. MESSAGE AND DATA RATES
RLT does not charge a separate fee for receiving RLT SMS messages.
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and service plan.
5. OPTING OUT
You may opt out of RLT SMS messages at any time by replying:
STOP
After you reply STOP, you may receive a confirmation message stating that you have been unsubscribed.
After your opt-out request is processed, RLT will not send additional SMS messages to that number unless you subsequently opt in again.
You may reply START to opt in again where supported.

7. PRIVACY AND MOBILE INFORMATION
The Road Less Traveled LLC does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional, or lead-generation purposes.
Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent will not be transferred to another business for that business's own marketing, promotional, or lead-generation purposes.
All categories of data sharing described in RLT's general Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.
RLT may provide mobile information to service providers that process SMS communications on behalf of The Road Less Traveled LLC, but only as necessary for those providers to perform services for RLT.
Those service providers may not use mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
SMS consent is specific to The Road Less Traveled LLC.

8. WEBSITE AND FORM CONSENT
When an RLT form collects a mobile phone number and displays an SMS disclosure, the disclosure will explain that providing the mobile phone number and submitting the form constitutes consent to receive SMS messages from The Road Less Traveled LLC.
The disclosure will include information regarding:
• The Road Less Traveled LLC as the message sender
• The general nature of the messages
• Message frequency
• Possible message and data rates
• How to opt out using STOP
• How to receive assistance using HELP
• Access to RLT's Privacy Policy and SMS Terms
Consent applies to the mobile phone number provided through the form.
9. VERBAL CONSENT
A consumer may consent to RLT SMS messaging during a telephone conversation.
Before recording verbal consent, the RLT representative will explain that:
• Messages are from The Road Less Traveled LLC
• The messages relate to the consumer's inquiry, enrollment, account, trip, or requested RLT services
• Message frequency may vary
• Message and data rates may apply
• The consumer may reply STOP to opt out
• The consumer may reply HELP for assistance
The consumer must affirmatively agree before RLT treats the number as opted in through verbal consent.
10. EMAIL CONSENT
An email inquiry or the inclusion of a phone number in an email does not automatically provide SMS consent.
When RLT requests SMS consent by email, the consumer must affirmatively respond that they agree to receive SMS messages after being provided information about the RLT SMS program.
RLT will not treat an email-supplied phone number as SMS consent solely because the number was included in the email.
11. INBOUND SMS CONSENT
A consumer may initiate an SMS conversation with an RLT SMS-enabled phone number.
When a consumer initiates an SMS conversation with RLT, RLT may respond with conversational messages related to that inquiry or interaction.
Consumers may reply STOP to discontinue SMS messages or HELP for assistance.
12. CONSENT RECORDS
RLT may maintain records related to SMS consent and opt-out requests.
These records may include:
• Mobile phone number
• Consent status
• Date and time consent was provided
• Method or source of consent
• The form, interaction, or communication through which consent was provided
• The version of the consent language in use at the time
• Opt-out date and time
• Other information reasonably necessary to document the consumer's messaging preferences
These records may be maintained for compliance, customer service, and business recordkeeping purposes.
13. CHANGING YOUR MOBILE NUMBER
If your mobile phone number changes, please notify RLT.
Consent associated with one mobile number should not be assumed to apply to a different mobile number.
14. DELIVERY OF SMS MESSAGES
Delivery of SMS messages is subject to mobile carrier networks and other telecommunications systems outside RLT's control.
RLT cannot guarantee that every SMS message will be delivered or delivered at a particular time.
15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
RLT may update these SMS Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions from time to time.
When changes are made, the updated version will be posted on this page and the "Last Updated" date will be revised.
